A dedicated audio computer for the best sound

If you want to play and control music throughout your home, you need a powerful solution integrated into your home network: A streaming server and a streaming client (streaming player or bridge) are the fundamental requirements for this.

How does it work? With a streaming bridge like the Waversa Wstreamer, you can control and play the music stored on your streaming server—for example, a Waversa WminiNAS MK2 or a Waversa Wcore—anywhere in the house. However, the Waversa Wstreamer is not just any streaming bridge you can buy at a random electronics store, but an extremely low-noise streaming bridge developed for high-quality audio applications and optimized for music playback.

Easy to integrate

Simply connect your Waversa Wstreamer to your router using a LAN cable. Then connect the Waversa Wstreamer to your D/A converter, either via coaxial or USB cable—and you're ready to go. All D/A converters with coaxial and USB inputs are compatible with the Wstreamer. With the Waversa Wstreamer, you can play music from your NAS or the internet over your network at any time, even when your computer is turned off. You are in control with one of many free apps.

High-quality playback

The Waversa Wstreamer features a very powerful ARM processor with low power consumption and extremely low noise. Its clock operates with two independent oscillators to process multiples of 44.1kHz and 48kHz respectively at the native sample rate, thus avoiding complex re-sampling. The network input and the coaxial S/PDIF output are galvanically isolated from each other, which effectively reduces noise and enables high-fidelity digital transmission.

Battery operation

Instead of the included power supply, you can also use a USB power bank for mobile operation. However, using a power bank can also offer sonic benefits in stationary use, as the Waversa Wstreamer is thus isolated from the power grid and its potential interference. Thanks to the power-saving function of the Waversa Wstreamer, a power switch is not necessary; continuous operation is possible.

Note: An external D/A converter is required for operation.
