The technology highlights of the Xtension series at an accessible price

The X8 combines the sonic advantages of sub-chassis and mass-loaded turntables, offering an affordable entry into mass-loaded technology and the True Balanced connection variant. The 5.1 kg platter is precision-turned from a single piece of aluminum and dampened on the inside with a ring of TPE*. An inverted platter bearing with ceramic surfaces ensures absolutely precise and controlled rotation, while magnetic support using repelling neodymium magnets relieves the bearing of a large portion of the platter's weight, significantly improving its smooth operation.

The chassis is made of solid MDF. It stands on height-adjustable, TPE-dampened aluminum feet. This allows for perfect leveling on any surface and optimal decoupling from it.

The Pro-Ject X8 is also available as a SuperPack. The SuperPack differs from the standard units by including a factory-fitted cartridge.

The impeccably finished high-gloss surface in black or white, or alternatively the genuine walnut wood veneer, gives the turntable either a modern or classic touch.
